Deputy Foreign Minister of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan Sher Muhammad Abbas Stanekzai said that their victory over the US and its allies is something unprecedented in the history of the world.

Speaking at a gathering in Kabul on Sunday, December 26 Stanekzai mentioned two late and legendary kings of Afghanistan- Mirwais Nika and Ahmad Shah Baba- having done heroic battles but added that their (The Taliban�s) victory is unprecedented as one country defeated several others.

The Deputy Foreign Minister who was a key member of the Taliban�s negotiating team in Doha said, it is because of the Taliban that now 15 central Asian countries enjoy independence.

About the frozen assets, Stanekzai said that no law can justify freezing billions of dollars of a country and added that the US never compromises with a country that is independent as Afghanistan is.

"Those who leave Afghanistan should consider their decision and should not leave the country. There are economic problems but leaving the country is not the solution." Said Stanekzai.

Earlier, Abbas Stanekzai had also called on former officials to return to Afghanistan and do their part in the development of the country as IEA has announced general amnesty.
